  • Faculty Bios
    Jason Luks
    Jason Luks

    Jason Luks is a performer, choreographer and teacher. He is currently on faculty at Steps on Broadway, NYCDA, and Joffrey Ballet School teaching Musical Theater. He was a member of the Tony Award nominated Falsettos choreography team with Director and Pulitzer Prize winner, James Lapine. He worked with Josh Prince and James Lapine on the choreography for "Mrs. Miller Does Her Thing." Jason served as Ryan Reynold's dance instructor for the Apple movie "Spirited" while also dancing as a member of the Spirited Dance Company. Jason's performance credits include “White Christmas” (Broadway), “On The Town" (Barrington Stage), “My One And Only” (Stages St. Louis), Rasta Thomas' Tap Stars, Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the Late Late Show with James Corden, MTV’s Video Music Awards, and Good Morning America. He has performed at the Kennedy Center for Presidents Obama and Bush. Jason is a member of the award winning The JaM Project. He won the Adult World Tap Dance Solo Championship at International Dance Organization’s World Tap Dance Competition, and ADA’s National Choreographer of the Year. Jason’s choreography has been presented on Broadway's Walter Kerr Theater (Falsettos), the Kennedy Center, and Symphony Space NYC. Jason graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Dance.

    Jenny LeProtto
    Jenny LeProtto

    Jenny LeProtto started dancing at age four, studying all forms of dance including tap with Mike Minery (Tapaholics, Slide, American Tap Festival, JUMP Director) and performing works by Ray Leeper (So You Think You Can Dance Choreographer, NUVO Director). While she trained in all forms of dance, Jenny's current fortes are teaching tap, hip hop and jazz, as well as teaching all styles of dance for young children. Jenny is best known for her tap choreography. She was recently recognized by American Dance Awards for many of her tap, jazz and lyrical pieces. Jenny’s work has been described as “intricate, polished and exciting!” Jenny is a graduate of Seton Hall University with a major in Education.

    Elisabetta Spuria
    Elisabetta Spuria

    Elisabetta Spuria started her professional career as a dancer and choreographer, working as associate choreographer and assistant director for artists such as Mariah Carey and Michael Bolton. Elisabetta was assistant choreographer, dance captain and performer in theater productions including “Footloose”, “Nights on Broadway III”, “Carmen”, “Candide” and “Aida.” She assisted directors and choreographers AC Ciulla, Michele Assaf, Josh Bergasse, and Terry Beeman; choreographed regional productions of “SPRING AWAKENING,” “HEDWIG and the Angry Inch,” “HAIR,” “CHICAGO,” “The Who’s TOMMY,” and “TESS A New Rock Opera.” Elisabetta was nominated for an NYIT award for her work in “disOriented” and has been a guest teacher at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway in NYC.

    Daniel Vaniska
    Elisabetta Spuria

    Daniel Vaniska was recognized as 'National Outstanding Dancer' by New York City Dance Alliance and Broadway Dance Center, honoring him with the coveted Richard Ellner Scholarship. Daniel’s credits include Rosta Thomas' "Bad Boys of Dance,” "Hairspray,” "Footloose,” and the national tour of "The Music Man" with original choreography by Susan Stroman. He performed in Atlantic City’s Caesar's Palace in the Broadway review productions "Nights on Broadway II & III.” Daniel's industrial/TV appearances include: Volkswagen Germany, Walmart, as well as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

    Ashley Gallotto
    Ashley Gallotto

    Ashley Gallotto began dancing at young age, primarily training at The Dance Academy of North Jersey. Ashley teaches all styles of dance as well as acro and aerial silks! Her dances have been recognized for their technique, performance qualities and choreography by many leading competitions.

    Amanda Molina
    Amanda Molina

    Amanda Molina completed her early dance training at The Dance Academy of North Jersey where she received a diverse dance education with Jason Luks, Jaclyn Walsh, and Sharon Hockstein. Upon graduating high school, she attended SUNY Purchase. She recently graduated summa cum laude with a BFA from their Conservatory of Dance. While attending Purchase, Amanda performed works by Rosalind Newman, Rena Butler, Roderick George, Dorchel Haqq, Doug Varone and Jason Reese Cianciulli. She was also selected to study abroad for a semester at London Contemporary Dance School. Amanda has furthered her training at summer intensives including Joffrey Ballet School, Steps on Broadway and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago for three years. She is currently a Peridance Contemporary Dance Company member, where she has performed works by Igal Perry, Jessica Lang, and Nicholas Palmquist.

    Kaya Snow
    Kaya Snow

    Kaya Snow began dancing at age two, primarily training at The Dance Academy of North Jersey. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rowan University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Theatre Arts, concentrating in Acting and Musical Theatre. Kaya was the recipient of the 2022 Joseph Robinette Excellence in Theatre and Dance Award. She can be seen as a featured dancer in Rowan University’s Be Unstoppable commercial. While on the Rowan University Dance Team she performed in their first UDA National competition. She also served as president of Rowan University’s Contemporary Dance Company, Dance Extensions, for two years and was a founding member of the RU campus Hoofer’s Club.

    Jenna Kulacz
    Jenna Kulacz

    Jenna Kulacz, a multi-disciplinary artist originally from Westchester, New York, graduated summa cum laude from Elon University with a BFA in Dance Performance & Choreography. As a professional dancer, Jenna has performed with notable companies such as Pilobolus, EMERGE125, Gaspard & Dancers, and Christal Brown’s INSPIRIT as a soloist in Arts Across America: A Live Virtual Performance at the John F. Kennedy Center. She has worked with a variety of New York project-based companies in performances including the Harlem Dance Festival and with AThomasProject at Bryant Park Summer Performing Arts Series. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Jenna has danced works by notable choreographers and companies including Yoshito Sakuraba, Gallim Dance, and NW Dance Project. Most recently, she performed at the Delacorte Theater in the Public Theater's production of 'The Tempest' for "Shakespeare in the Park". She thoroughly enjoys teaching and choreographing and is particularly skilled at nurturing younger dancers. She is currently a company member with EMERGE125, a dance educator and choreographer at Westchester Dance Academy, an assistant for New York City Dance Alliance, and a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer. 

    Robert Ciszak
    Jenna Kulacz

    Robert Ciszak is a dancer, choreographer, and educator known for his dynamic teaching style and engaging energy. A graduate of the University of Arizona with a BFA in Dance, Robert has performed with esteemed companies and choreographers, including InDance Global and works by Bill T. Jones and Paul Taylor. His theater credits included Fiddler On The Roof (Barne Theater), Hairspray (Vanguard Theater Company), and Twelfth Night. He was also cast in Steven Spielberg's West Side Story as a jet. He is currently furthering his training in New York City at the Paul Taylor School Professional Division. He also trained at Orsolina28 in Italy with Jacob Jonas. Robert has taught at universities such as Rutgers and Wesleyan, as well as in Poland. While growing up training at DANJ, Robert studied tap and musical theater with Jason Luks, Modern and Ballet with Jaclyn Walsh, Musical Theater, Ballet and Partnering with Jen Savelli, and Ballet and Men's Technique with Tercell Waters. Robert was the recipient of many regional and national awards at New York City Dance Alliance, Hall of Fame, American Dance Awards and others. Robert graduated with a BFA from Arizona State University where he received a full scholarship.

    Tulia Marshall
    Jenna Kulacz

    Tulia Marshall, born in Vietnam, is a New York-based dancer and choreographer trained at Laguardia High School, Manhattan Youth Ballet, and the Hubbard Street Professional Program. She holds a BFA in Dance and BA in Arts Management from Purchase College, SUNY, receiving the Conservatory's Presidential Scholar Award. A finalist at Francisco Gella’s New Century Dance Project, Tulia has received commissions for Soundscape Møn Sommerkoncert in Denmark, Daniel Ulbricht's Stars of American Ballet and The New York Chinese Cultural Center. She's presented original works for Doug Varone’s Devices 8 Cohort, Dance Studio Alliance, and Battery Dance Festival. Tulia has performed worldwide at venues such as The Dock 11 Berlin, The Joyce Theater, The Open Air Stage at Orsolina28, The Park Avenue Armory, Times Square New Years Eve and is currently engaged as an artistic collaborator with Peter Chu and Athomas Project, performing original works by Bryan Arias, Johannes Wieland, and James Vu Anh Pham.
