School Year Registration

Registration Fees - the registration fees (below) apply to school-year registration only. They are due at registration, along with the first monthly tuition (these amounts are non-refundable). Registration fees and tuition will be posted to your account by the studio staff after you enroll in classes.

Returning Students

  • One Student: $25.00
  • Two or More Students (same family): $35.00

New Students

  • One Student: $30.00
  • Two or More Students (same family): $40.00
Tuition -- Tuition is payable on a Monthly Plan or on an Installment Plan. Click on each to learn more.

Read This Before Proceeding to Enrolling Online

  1. In order to enroll in classes, you must first set up a family account in our system. The account contains information such as your addresses, phone numbers, emergency contacts, student information as well as billing information for those who wish to pay online via credit card or E-check.
  2. If you are an existing DANJ customer or have attended one of our Open House or Summer Sessions, then you already have an account set up on our system and can proceed directly to enrolling in classes. For everyone else, you must first set up your account information before enrolling in classes.
  3. To assist you through the registration process, we suggest that you download and/or print the Class Schedule and identify those classes you plan to enroll in. You should also review and understand the registration fees (described above), monthly tuition (or installment plan, if applicable) and studio policies before enrolling.

Account Set-Up (for New Customers Only)

  1. If you are an existing DANJ customer or have attended one of our Open Houses, Master Classes or Summer Sessions, then you should skip this step and proceed to "Enrolling in Class" below.
  2. Click here to Register Online. This is the first step required to use the DANJ Customer Portal. All of the information you enter will be protected with a unique user ID and password assigned to each customer. Once you complete the form, please read the section labelled "A Quick Guide to Enrolling Online" below before enrolling in classes.

Enrolling in Class

  1. Before enrolling please review all of the steps in this section.
  2. Confirm that you have an account set up in the DANJ system. If you attempt to login to the Portal and have issues doing so, you may click on "I don't know my password" and have the system send a temporary password to you. To do this, you will need your User ID which is usually the full email address you entered in the system when you set up your account. Once you receive the temporary password (should be almost immediately), you may login to the Portal, change your password and proceed to enroll - see step 2 below.
  3. Using the online enrollment system -- Once you are ready to begin and enroll in one or more classes, login to the DANJ Portal and click on I want to: Register For a Class. The system will prompt you to enter information that will narrow down the list of classes presented to you for online registration. For Fall 2010 classes, select Session "2010 - 2011." If you want to filter the list based on level or type of dance, you have the following options: Category 1 (Preschool, Young, Junior, Teen, Teen/Senior, Senior); Category 2 (Acro, Ballet, Broadway Bound, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Tap); Category 3 (day of week). Once you located the class(es) you want to enroll in, click on the row and a box will pop-up describing the class. Click on the check-box next to the student's name and then click on "Enroll" (if you want to cancel, click on "Close"). Please note that the classes you select are subject to change based on enrollment levels and confirmation by the Artistic Director that the classes are appropriate for the student.
  4. Registration Fees and Tuition will not be posted to your account at the time you register for the school year and enroll online (see the section labelled "What's Next" below for an explanation of how registration fees and tuition are posted to your account and how to make payments).

What’s Next?

Once you have submitted your registration and class enrollment information:

  1. All class enrollments will be reviewed by the DANJ staff to confirm the proper level for each student;
  2. DANJ staff will post the applicable registration fees and tuition to your account;
  3. Once your fees are posted, you may log in to the DANJ Portal and pay by credit card or E-check. If you provided your email address during registration, DANJ will email your statements to that address; and
  4. Using the DANJ Portal, you may view and maintain (where appropriate) your contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number, etc.), your transactions (e.g., fees and payments), your class enrollments and more.

Guests and Dancers from other Studios

Anyone that dances competitively with another local dance studio is welcome to enroll in any of DANJ's classes, subject to space being available. Please call us with any questions regarding this policy.

A "drop-in rate" is available for non-DANJ regular students. If you are interested, please email or contact our office staff for more information.
