Open to Everyone
The Summer Technique Class program is open to dancers of all experience levels, from beginners to members of competition teams. We welcome and expect dancers from many studios in the area who are looking to maintain/improve their technique, develop new skills and have fun.
Regardless of Experience:
- Recreational Dancers
- Competition Team*
- Dancers from other studios
- New dancers!
Within the following Age Groups:
- Young Dancer (Age 7 - 9)
- Junior (Age 10 -12)
- Teen/Senior (Age 13 & Up)
*DANJ competition team members are required to register for full sessions and attend at least 14 of the classes.
For dancers under the age of 7 interested in dancing this summer, our Little Spinners program is designed especially for you.
Class Schedule and Faculty
The faculty for the classes includes DANJ faculty and many guest teachers (including dancers from So You Think You Can Dance, Broadway, the Rockettes and well known choreographers). The program is designed to help dancers maintain their technique, develop new skills and expose them to new styles of dance. There are 28 classes for the Junior, Teen and Senior groups and 14 classes for the Young Dancer group as follows:

How to Register for Summer Technique Classes
You may enroll for a full session* or you may elect to register for a ten-class card. Select which Class is appropriate for you and then click on the "Register" link (in the left column) corresponding to the Class you selected. (Note: When you click on Register, if you have not already been set up in the online system, you will first be required to do so by following the form that will be displayed to you.)
