Bye-Bye-Birdie Cast
Jess LeProtto, an I'm Broadway Bound Mentor, joined our "Bye-Bye-Birdie" cast. Jess LeProtto was a cast member on Broadway's production of Bye-Bye-Birdie and a top ten finalist in So You Think You Can Dance Season 8!. Jess rehearsed and performed three numbers with our I'm Broadway Bound cast in the evening, finale production. Jess looks forward to continuing as a mentor in the I'm Broadway Bound program at DANJ for many years to come. Broadway Bound mentors are men and women (including children) with professional theater experience on local, regional and Broadway stages. They have generously offered to participate as guests in acting and singing classes, rehearsals and performances. Our mentors for this fall are all recent or current Broadway actors and actresses from shows including Bye-Bye-Birdie, Billie Elliot and Mary Poppins.
Jess was in town on October 4th, 2011 with the SYTYCD tour at the Prudential Center. Jess has been a mentor to many of our I'm Broadway Bound students. He joined our cast of Bye-Bye-Birdie during the Summer Stars Program hosted by Sandy Taylor and Danny Arnold.
