LIndsay Mecca was recently a Rockette in the 2009 Nashville cast of Christmas Across America. Her regional theatrical and dance company credits include roles in the chorus, as a dancer and a lead in Scrooge The Musical (Wyckoff Community Theatre), Nutcracker (New Generation Dance Company), Nutcracker (American Youth Dance Company), Can Can ( Montclair Operetta Club) and Grease (New Generation Dance Company). Prior to being a Rockette, Lindsay was an Assistant in the Rockette Experience (Radio City Music Hall, New York). Lindsay has choreographed dances for many local high school productions including The Producers (Butler HS), Bye Bye Birdie (Saddle Brook HS), Guys and Dolls (Saddle Brook HS) and CATS (Butler HS). Lindsay has been dancing competitively since the age of seven, and has been recognized for numerous dance awards and titles she has won at both a regional and national level. Her dance training encompasses tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical and acrobatics. She has taught at several top dance studios in New Jersey, and is currently a teacher at For Dancers Only located in Little Falls, N.J. Recently, Lindsay assisted in the choreography for the production of Bye Bye Birdie at Saddle Brook High School.
