Maureen Brown
Maureen Brown’s credits include working with celebrities like Stephanie Mills, Jennifer Holiday, Maurice Hines, Paul Potts, Ed Lover among others. Maureen has appeared in major television shows on Fox, NBC, the MTV Awards, Billboard Awards, Cosby Show, Arsenio Hall Show, Dave Chapelle Show, and All My Children’s 35th Anniversary.
Maureen has earned her a reputation as a judge for numerous national talent competitions including American Dance Awards, Dynamite National Talent Competition, StarQuest International Talent Competition, Dance Masters of America, Showstoppers Talent Competition, On Stage America and Starbound. In theatre, she has performed in the successful West Coast tour of Dreamgirls, Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida, the European tour of Bubblin’ Brown Sugar, the national tour of The Wiz, Radio City Music Hall’s The Christmas Spectacular, and more.
Maureen has taught in numerous schools including Stamford Performing Arts Center (CT), Bronx Dance Theatre (NY), USDAN School of Performing Arts (NY). Stagelite Centre of Performing Arts (PA), Miss Barbara’s School of Dance (PA), Dance Education Unlimited (NJ), and Cathy Taylor School of Dance (MA).
Maureen is involved in her community devoting her time as a choreographer for musicals in Stamford, CT, public schools as well as a volunteer for New York Cares and the NY Mariner’s Temple. She is an active member of the Actors’ Equity Association, Screen Actors Guild, American Federation of Radio and Television Artists and American Guild of Variety Artists.
